Introduction to Humata
Humata is a document query tool based on artificial intelligence technology. Users can upload multiple types of documents and ask questions in a conversational manner to receive AI answers.
Humata currently offers free and paid versions. The paid version can upload files with more pages and can also use the ChatGPT 4.0 function. Humata has received investment from Google and other institutions in October this year, with the cumulative amount reaching US$3.5 million, proving its professional capabilities in the field of AI document interaction.

How to Use Humata
We use Humata to ask questions. The file formats supported by Humata are PDF, DOCX, DOC, PPTX, and PPT. We upload a PDF file about the third generation of artificial intelligence, Humata summarizes the paper and provides some example questions.
We selected a sample question and Humata provided an answer to the question and listed the source of the content. These contents are marked in yellow in the PDF. We can directly find the corresponding fragment by clicking on the number. This feature increases the credibility of AI query and can also help us understand the document more clearly.
Humata also provides a query function for multiple documents. Users can store the required documents in a folder and use Humata to ask questions about all articles in the document. Compared with other AI query tools, Humata does not limit the size of documents uploaded by users (whether they are free users or paid users).
When it comes to file privacy, Humata uses 256-bit SHA encryption and offers team functionality. Users can set whether files can be viewed by other colleagues. In the future, Humata will also launch a single sign-on (SSO) function to simplify user access.
